It’s been awhile since I updated so here we go:
The past many months have been status quo for me, still taking chemo, still getting only about two “decent” weeks a month. Sometimes that varies +/- a little. Vision still suffers, still have headaches but I try to push through the best I can.
However, my latest scan showed some changes. More blood degradation products and extensive hyperintensities are now seen, which now extend to the mid frontal lobe and adjacent to the atrium. Because it has changed, this latest scan becomes the new baseline for future tests.
At this point, the Doctor believes it is one of two things, postradiation changes (brain damage), or infiltrative glioma.
I knew changes were going to happen, I just wished not this soon. Hopeful we know more after the next test.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
Ed
